Introducing Citizens' Day
The month of October is where all kinds of culture and sports tournaments are taking place for citizens.
The Citizens' Day, started from 1996, is for every citizen to participate.
The Citizens' Day takes place on October 17th of every year and it refers to total 17 eup, myeon and dong of the Miryang-si as it was first instituted on October 17th of every year.
There is currently total 16 eup, myeon and dong due to consolidation of the depopulated dong.
