The Miryang Muan Hot Pepper Festival is hold to promote reputation and superiority of the Hot Pepper to other areas of the country and also to introduce Muan-myeon Miryang, the main producing district of the Hot Pepper.

The event is to proudly promote the excellent taste and flavor of "Hot Pepper" produced mainly in Miryang; to express gratitude to consumers and the things you can enjoy here are such as free food sampling and the food that used the Hot Pepper as the raw ingredient.
Hot Pepper Evaluation, special products (Hot pepper, sesame leaves, strawberries, sweet persimmons, Jujube, potatoes, mild Korean pepper or sweet pepper, unripe hot pepper, natural water celery, king oyster mushroom or boletus of the steppes), discount stores, Traditional feature, local restaurants, Exhibitions (Wild flowers, Water stone, Art and Crafts and taking a picture for funeral.
Miryang is equipped with convenient transportation where express trains come to stationed. There is a great tourist course for one night staying such as Miryang Jaeyaksan, Pyochungsa and Yongnamru which is one the 3 great three-stories-buildings in Korea.
In the residence of our myeon, there is the birth-home of Samyung Daesa (the great monk Samyung) who fought in Imjin Waeran (The Japanese invasion of 1592), a mysterious tombstone, Pyochung-begak (Monument) that sweats when there is significant good or ill-luck in Country, the Bugok Hot Spring celebrates it good quality of spring water, Junam Water Reservoir, featuring nature learning site and habitat for migratory birds, Hwawangsan, famous for pampas grass.
