Samrangjin Strawberry Festival
The Samrangjin strawberry, the history of Korean strawberry begin growing in Korea by introducing a seeding from Japan by Song Jun in 1943.
Samrangjin is situated where there are good mountains and natural water providing perfect environment to cultivate strawberries.
Thanks to long experienced cultivation techniques, Samrangjin produces varieties of strawberries in good quality, enjoy popularity and contributes in improving local farmers income.
The Samrangjin strawberry festival holds every year to promotes the super quality of Samrangjin strawberries, cultivation techniques by grade and introduces the changes of the strawberry in order to enhance income for the farmers and to enhance harmony of the local citizens.
