

It is a characteristic Baesanimsu (‘a mountain in the back and a river in the front’) mountain village with the Gosacheon Stream at the front and Hyangrobong Peak (727m) in the back. In this village, you can experience great hospitality and generosity with scenic landscape.
Before Miryang Dam was built, it was a remote rural village surrounded by lofty mountains. Now, it is popular as a great tourist attraction and agricultural hands-on village due to the completion of the two-way, two-lane local road.
Due to high diurnal range of temperature, a variety of fruits such as jujube, pear, sweet persimmon and apple are produced in this mountain village. In early May, Snow Flower Festival is held. In particular, this village is famous with high-quality jujube.
